　　嬰兒睡姿

　　The Baby’s Sleeping Position

　　除媽媽抱起喂奶外，新生兒整日臥床休息，應保證有足夠睡眠時間。最好采取側(cè)臥位，尤其喂奶后應向右側(cè)臥，平時采取左側(cè)臥。經(jīng)常變換體位，可防止睡偏頭扁頭綜合癥?？刹槐卣碚眍^，枕枕頭的高度應大致同肩寬，更不能用硬枕頭來矯正頭形。

　　Apart from breast-feeding, we should make sure that there’s sufficient sleep for your baby. Regarding sleeping position, we recommend side-lying position, specially right side-lying after breast-feeding, and left side-lying in between. Change your baby’s sleeping position frequently can effectively prevent flat head syndrome. There is no need for a pillow, if needed, the height of the pillow should be roughly the same as the shoulder breadth, and hard pillow is forbidden to correct baby’s head shape.

　　Temperature Management

　　新生兒出生后應立即將其全身輕輕擦干，用潔凈溫暖的棉毯包裹。室溫不能低于23℃。出生后第一天每4小時測一次體溫，體溫穩(wěn)定在36.5℃左右時，以后可改為每6～12小時測一次。若體溫低于36℃或高于38℃時，應查找原因，進行處理。

　　Clean the newborn baby gently right after birth, and carefully wrap the baby by a clean and warm blanket. Maintain your room temperature no lower than 23°C. Measure the body temperature every 4 hours on the first day after birth and when the temperature is stable at around 36.5°C, change to every 6 to 12 hours. If the body temperature is lower than 36°C or higher than 38°C, causes should be found and treatment should be performed.

　　皮膚護理

　　Skin Care

　　新生兒皮膚嬌嫩，容易損傷，因而擦拭動作要輕柔，衣著要寬松，衣服被子的質(zhì)地要柔軟，不宜釘扣子或用別針。要用溫水擦洗皮膚皺折處，每次大小便后清洗，并用毛巾擦干。

　　Newborn’s skin is delicate and easy to damage, so the wiping should be gentle, the clothes should be loose, and clothes and quilt should be soft without buttons or pins. Wash the folds of skin with warm water after each peeing or pooping, and pat your baby dry with a towel.

　　臍帶護理

　　Umbilical Cord Care

　　在新臍帶未脫落時，每天用75%的酒精擦洗臍部一次，然后用消毒紗布蓋上，不要放盆內(nèi)洗澡。臍帶脫落后，可以不用紗布，但必須保持臍部干燥清潔。發(fā)現(xiàn)臍部有紅或有膿性分泌物，則應進行消炎處理。

　　When the cord stump doesn’t fall off on its own, scrub it once a day with 75% alcohol, then cover it with sterile gauze, and better give sponge shower rather than full bath. After the cord falls off, try exposing the cord to air and allowing it to dry at its base. If your baby’s navel looks red or has yellowish discharge, anti-inflammatory treatment is necessary.
